We use 14k gold filled, sterling silver, and gold enamel chains for your Two Trunks permanent jewelry.  Life of your jewelry depends on you & your lifestyle, activity level, job and other external factors.  Excessive exposure to environmental elements (like chlorine, tanning sprays, lotions & perfumes) may slowly deteriorate the structure/look of the chain. We recommend covering your chain when possible around these exposures. With that being said, if properly taken care of, your Two Trunks jewelry will stay on for as long as you'd like!
